Ive been using this app for two years, and its the single most important app on my iPad. (I also use the iPhone version when I dont need to pull out the iPad.). The app has allowed me to access the high computing power of my iMac at home while Im on the move or even down in the family room. I pull out my portable bluetooth keyboard if I want to type and maximize the iPad screen space.
One of the apps best features is the user interfaces ability to access all of your computers applications and toggle between the, with gestures and iPad-like tapping instead of pretending that your iPad is just a small iMac. In my experience this ability is what really makes the app quick and efficient to use. In addition, I especially appreciate the "hold down one finger precision click" feature, as I call it. It pops up a magnifier that makes it incredibly easy to tap on those small macOS (or Windows) "Xs" and other buttons that were designed for mice and not large fingers like mine.
Btw, I also have Parallels on my iMac to run Windows , and this works great with that as well. After all, Parallels specializes in cross-platform operating system functionality. I enjoy all of their products, to be honest.
