Nightmare

Paid for subscription but still cant access my computer. Everytime I get "your subscription has expired" etc. Support doesnt answer my requests. Request tracker service says it doesnt know my registered email. WF is going on Parallels?!!!

Awesome Portal

I work in the out in the field and have need to access my computer from my iPad. Ive tried many Apps sold through the App store and find your desktop access tool to be the most through and beneficial I have ever used. ParallelsAccess not only allows me to access my Mac environment but also my windows environment without even a hiccup. Thank you for such a useful tool.

Highly satisfied

Works accordingly and does exactly what they promised so effortlessly. Love it.

Nice App but with some quirks

I really like this app. The one think that annoys me to no end is that I always forget that the app takes my MacBook Pros sound settings hostage and doesnt restore them after use. I was racking my brains trying to get my sound to work in class for a presentation. It took me an hour to realize that my sound setting were changed automatically to sound output Parallels but never restored back to may laptops default settings. Please fix this. Otherwise super app!

Awsome

Its just great. Yo can do everything you want. Play videos, music, work with apps, games, there is no limit. :)

Good job

Works perfectly but doesnt restore my Mac sound after I logout

Worked great at first than kept crashing

App was great at first than just kept crashing on the PC that I was trying to connect to. WKept telling me to unistall and reinstall. Did this three different times. Last time I could not even install again. Trying to connect ot support but kept timimg out. NO support=terrible product. DO NOT BUY. Trying to make sure that it does not auto renew and cant even connect to website to do that.

Not optimized for iPhone 6

Please fix. UI is blurry and enlarged on iPhone 6.

The best app for accessing your Mac on an iOS device.

Ive been using this app for two years, and its the single most important app on my iPad. (I also use the iPhone version when I dont need to pull out the iPad.). The app has allowed me to access the high computing power of my iMac at home while Im on the move or even down in the family room. I pull out my portable bluetooth keyboard if I want to type and maximize the iPad screen space. One of the apps best features is the user interfaces ability to access all of your computers applications and toggle between the, with gestures and iPad-like tapping instead of pretending that your iPad is just a small iMac. In my experience this ability is what really makes the app quick and efficient to use. In addition, I especially appreciate the "hold down one finger precision click" feature, as I call it. It pops up a magnifier that makes it incredibly easy to tap on those small macOS (or Windows) "Xs" and other buttons that were designed for mice and not large fingers like mine. Btw, I also have Parallels on my iMac to run Windows , and this works great with that as well. After all, Parallels specializes in cross-platform operating system functionality. I enjoy all of their products, to be honest.

I tried another...

And it was TERRIBLE. This was amazing! Even for a bizarre little work app that uses Fusion (Fusion allows me to access Windows apps). Only used it once. Hoping it continues to be as good.

Best VPN App I’ve used

Great app, well worth the annual subscription cost. I’ve tried several VPN apps, and have had issues with all of them. Splash top was the best of the best, but I still had a few issues that made it nor work for me. Access puts every window you view into full screen mode on the iPad, which is way more useful than it sounds. Having a smaller screened device, it really helps to maximize the usable space. I use it to access my Macbook almost daily through the iPad’s 4G connection. It works very well. I even used it from my iPhone on occasion. It is a hassle to use on such a small screen (4” iPhone 5) but it works in a pinch.

iPhone 6/ 6Plus

Needs to be updated to support iPhone 6/ 6Plus screen resolutions

Works great needs iPhone 6 Plus support

Ive been using parallels access for a long time. It works great on an iPad even an iPhone. Id like to have an update for iPhone 6 Plus that provides landscape support like an iPad layout. The last update was in August. An update for iOS 8 would be nice.

horrible support

They auto subscribe you to a yearly annual subscription and every way they offer within the program to cancel the subscription or contact support doesnt work. The software works great just beware that once you buy it, you are paying a yearly fee with no way out. I plan to contact Apple about this.

Doesn’t Work

The problems I was having with this have been fixed. It is now working for me. There’s some minor interface issues, which is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Great functionality. Terrible user interface

It works reliably and is fast. I love accessing my Mac! But the client use interface is bewildering. Its just extremely non-obvious to use. Transitioning from one screen to another (such as from the file manager to the launchpad) is illogical, inconsistent, and frustrating. Its utterly non-obvious how to disconnect (I always have to go hunting for the one screen that has a disconnect button.) every screen is different...there is no symmetry in the design. This would be a five star product if only you would hire a decent user interface engineer.u

Great app better that Splashtop

Updated 2-11-15: I dont have any connection with the company when I say this, I cant understand what the other reviewers are complaining about. This app works great connecting to my 2 Dell PCs. Maybe they should give this app another try. I heard about Parallels Access from the iPad Today show on the TWIT network. Before this I was using Splashtop Sreamer2 app which I thought was great. This is better. Here are some of the reasons why..... 1) I dont have to reconnect to my PC every time I want to go between Parallels and another iPad app. This is a big deal. 2) I can copy and Past files from an iPad app to my PC just by using the "Open-in" command. This is another big big deal. With using the Open-in command I can, for example, Download a file from the Internet using the "Downloads" app., then Open-in the file in Parallels Access. Now it is on my PC. So simple!! I can even download windows apps with "Downloads" and copy them to my PC by way of the Open-in command. Also, very simple. I love apps that work this way. Also having the interface look and feel more iPad like is great. It might take some getting used to for some people. It is a new way of thinking.

Need password or TouchID - SECURITY ISSUE

Most IOS remote access applications will have a password or TouchID to protect unauthorized access. This app does NOT have this. This is a security issue that Parallel need to implement for this app.

Brilliant!

This is the same program that allows me to run windows directly from my Mac desktop, so I should have known Paralles Access would be equally amazing. I have complete control of my Mac desktop, and all I have to do is open the app to use it, and close it out when Im done. Set up with extremely easy also, a simple matter of logging in on both my computer and my iPad. This app is so awesome. Thank you so much Parallels!

Useless

The current version of this app is useless. It doesnt work. I open it and all I get on my iPod Touch (5th generation) is a black screen. Thats it.
